Remember Gen. Petraeus?

Postby Niner Alpha » Fri Jan 09, 2015 10:11 pm

Remember the decorated head general made important from the recent undeclared wars? The guy that was later brought down in disgrace because the FBI had been reading his email when he was the head of the CIA....that guy? The guy who's, up to now, only publicized sin was that he was screwing around with a woman , not his wife, who was going to write his biography. And remember how Obama doesn't much care who murdered who in those "black sites" and how bygones will be bygones and boys will be boys in those cases? But.... in this case..... it seems Petraeus is going to pay.

His mistress was a modern day Mata Hari.

Petraeus always was a self-promoting phony, more politician than soldier. Sounds like he played hide the weenie with the wrong wench.

When the head of the CIA gets brought down because the FBI is reading his email what does that tell us about the privacy of anybodies email? What does that do for blackmail files being set up on anybody our secret security agencies want to build a file on? Remember when investigative agencies had to get a court order to wiretap somebody? No need anymore ... in the age of wireless communication.... if you are a Federal Government agency it seems the law no longer applies.

John, I don't have any particular respect for Petraeus. He should have been above reproach in the position he was in.... but..... old Bill Clinton shouldn't have been playing hide the cigar with Monica either.
