Newspaper picture story toward the end of 70

Postby Niner Alpha » Wed Nov 17, 2010 8:55 pm

John Bullock had this story from maybe the Go Devil ...or whatever the last few newspaper publications were called. It is basically a short story of one day with helecopter assets and Delta Company in mid to later 1970.

I remember this op. there was a photographer with us and remember thinking if the pictures would ever get published. seems to me we made several insertions and didn't get our feet wet until we stopped for chow before moving to a N.L. and we had a few mortar shells lobbed at us. We bolted out of there and took cover behind some VN graves, I called 4 duece mortars and arty in . we didn't find shit afterwards.
