New Google Earth photos of "the island"

New Google Earth pictures are much better, as John Bullock has discovered and passed the information on. These are some of the "island" that we visited twice in 1970. You can see the comments in the Google earth string.

You can even see evidence of the many artillery round impacts in these new photo views..

Google Earth

I suppose most know by now you can press ctrl-alt-A in google earth and get a flight simulator. Nothing fancy, but it uses Google Earth terrain to fly over. Kind of fun sometimes to fly over the areas where we were once butt deep in swamp. I am not talented, but finally learned how to control the whole thing with just the mouse. And sometimes I crash...
