Tango boats and river operations

Over the years there have been monthly collages. Most saluted different contributors to the Album. This new forum is just to keep the collages and remarks about them from being totally forgotten.

Postby Niner Alpha » Sun Sep 07, 2014 12:26 pm

This is more of the same subject as the last. My photo. Looks like one boat is full and there are guys on the shore waiting for probably the next boat. 1970.

Speaking of River Operations, and combat, you guys might be interested in a book called The Boys of '67 by Andrew Wiest. Its put out by Osprey Books, and for all who fought in the Delta, I think you may find it interesting. The author weaves in personal account of the fellows in the unit, plus tells you about the battles they were in. The Plain of Reeds, the Rung Sat, Mekong River OPS, its all there, the best part were their personal stories. 9th Inf. Div. at its best!
