The reenactor sources

This is a forum for the weapons we knew about. It is also a place for remembering the equipment we carried and how and why we carried what we did.

The reenactor sources

Postby Niner Alpha » Sun Jul 12, 2009 11:05 am

I found this site by way of another. It is basically a commercial site that deals with reenactors. It goes into some detail about various equipment and clothing. What's interesting is the history and discription of the items this guy sells. Take for instance the various boots that were used and how the jungle boot was changed over time.

Notice he has some "genuine" poncho liners for sale for as much as $100. Seems the "real" ones had a seam that ran down the middle of it. Funny... don't know if I ever noticed.
