Lt. Col Cornelius Gearin album. New today

Lt. Col Cornelius Gearin was the last battalion commander of the 6th of the 31st serving in 1970 until the battalion closed shop in September of 1970. His sons Colin and Mike have been in contact with the site and his son Mike has sent us some photos the colonel brought home with him.

Some of the photos look to be photos Col. Gearin took himself, but many of them are photos he looks to have gotten from the brigade Go Devil photo staff. A couple clearly show guys that were in other battalions. However they are all interesting. I posted the captions that were either printed or hand written on the back of the photos. Some of the ones of Ben Luc are the best I've ever seen. And.. what must be the Colonels hand writing on the back ... tells some things for posterity.
