Anybody from 1970 during the Cambodian incursion remember

Postby Niner Alpha » Mon May 06, 2002 2:31 pm

a guy who came to the field as a "Recon Sgt." to assist in directing artillary fire? He was new to the field but had been in country for four or five months and was hit in Cambodia getting off of a chopper. I had thought he was killed at the time from what was on the radio but he, judging from the "Wall", must have survived. Do you remember his name?

Thanks for a little help from Bruce Swander I now know the guy's name again. He was Willard "Donald" O'Brien. He died for his country on May 11, 1970.
